Jennifer Witebsky is the Associate Director for Credentialing at the ATD Credentialing Institute. Jennifer supports the growth of the APTD and CPTD certification programs which have a growing global presence. Jennifer takes a project management approach to ensuring certification program and exam development standards continue to reflect career professionals in talent development.
Rob Hoitt, CPTD is a Professional Development Consultant with Leidos, a Fortune 500 corporation specializing in federal services. A true “accidental trainer,” he came into learning and development after a decade working in the television broadcast industry. Rob has spent nearly 20 years in the learning and development industry specializing in leadership development and technical training.
In addition to becoming a member of the first cohort to attain the Associate Professional of Talent Development certification and earned his Certified Professional in Talent Development credential as part of the 2020 pilot, Rob holds a BA in Education Studies from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International.
Victoria Nelson is the Learning & Development Strategist for the Statistical Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention (SCHARP) at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She partners with leadership and key stakeholders to design and deploy learning and development solutions in support of strategic goals. She has over 13 years’ experience working in learning and development, with a focus on technical training, leadership development, onboarding, and organizational development initiatives.
Victoria obtained the APTD credential in 2018 and then went on to obtain the CPTD in 2020 as part of the pilot cohort for the new certification exam. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Seattle University and will complete it in 2024.
Sarah Jo Smith is a Training Coordinator and Documentation Specialist at Signature Science, LLC. During her career, she has been a chemist, a secondary school science teacher, a technical writer, an instructional designer, and more! In every role, her goal has been to put the right information into the hands of those who need it. She obtained her APTD credential in 2020 and her CPTD in 2021.
Jeremy is a seasoned professional in talent development, currently serving as the Learning and Development Manager at the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union in Lexington, KY. With a passion for fostering growth and excellence in individuals and organizations, he entered the talent development field in 2016 and has since become an organizational leader focused on leadership development, performance management, instructional design and assessment, and knowledge management within the financial services sector.
After joining the national and Kentuckiana chapters of ATD, Jeremy marked his commitment to continuous learning and professional advancement by earning the APTD credential in 2020 and the distinguished CPTD credential in 2022. These served as building blocks for leading organizational objectives related to learning and professional growth and led to the development of a team of specialists that he manages. The concepts and practices learned from ATD continue to be vital in helping the team identify learning needs, develop solutions, and deliver impactful training initiatives for the organization.
