Misty is a seasoned executive with extensive global experience, most recently serving as CEO of Penn Foster following its merger with Carrus in 2021. Before joining Carrus in 2018, she was the CMO at Instructure, where she played a key role in driving the company’s growth from a start-up to a publicly traded business valued over $1 billion. Throughout her nearly 30-year career, she has held leadership positions at Datamark and worked with major brands like Intel, Nortel Networks, Hyatt Hotels, and Disney. Misty, a University of Utah alumna, currently serves on the boards of Galileo Learning, Intelvio, and Bibliu, and is an active member of the Women Tech Council and CHIEF, promoting women’s executive leadership.
