This webinar draws upon the thinking that underpins the processes of mediation and conflict coaching and the experience of the presenter over 18 years as a Mediator and Conflict Management Consultant to provide a range of insights into effective communication and creative thinking towards the resolution of conflict that support the development of a more engaged workforce. Alan Sharland, Director of CAOS Conflict Management, based in London, UK will introduce and explore the different ways in which we respond to conflict that never lead to resolution and the features of resolved conflict that we can seek to create in any difficult situation we are experiencing. He will also present some of the 9 Principles of Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution that inform his practice as a Mediator and Conflict Coach and which form the basis of all the conflict management training and consultancy provided by CAOS Conflict Management.

CAOS Conflict Management, based in London, UK, is led by Alan Sharland who has 18 years experience as a Mediator, Conflict Coach, Facilitator, Trainer and Consultant in Mediation and Conflict Management processes. Alan has worked in a number of mediation organisations during those 17 years including as: Director of Hillingdon Community Mediation, West London, Mediator of NHS Complaints for Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Health Authority, Case Manager for Hackney Mediation Service and Camden Mediation Service. He has provided mediation, conflict coaching and training for a large and diverse range of organisations.
