Research (Hogan, 2014) has shown that 75% of employees state that their direct leader is the most stressful part of their job. This suggests that the majority of leaders are "meh" leaders. How can you help your leaders go from being "meh" to making magic? The answer to this question is in a form of development called vertical development, which differs from most traditional horizontal development efforts. In this session, we will introduce what vertical development is and how it can help you elevate your leaders to make more magic.
