Michele Berg, CPTD, CAE

Deputy General Secretary/COO, Rotary International

Michele Berg, in her role as Deputy General Secretary/Chief Operating Officer at Rotary International, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of a staff team of over 700 employees in 7 countries, and oversight of budgets exceeding $140 million annually with assets exceeding $1 billion. She oversees Global People & Talent, Adminstration and Operations, Audit, International Operations and support to the Rotary Board and Trustees.

Michele graduated from Loyola University and earned her M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD, formerly CPLP) which she earned in 2007.
 


Jay Davenport
Jay Davenport

Managing Director, Property Management, Greystar

Jay Davenport is a Managing Director and leads the Operations Learning and Development for the Property Management business of Greystar, the global leader in rental housing with expertise in real estate sectors across multiple geographies. Greystar employees over 19,000 employees worldwide. Jay and his team support the learning and development needs for on-site property operations and corporate property management team members. Before joining Greystar in 2019, Jay served as the Director of Talent and Organizational Development at Hilton Grand Vacations and Hilton Worldwide where he led a new organizational development infrastructure and oversaw leadership development, global orientation and onboarding, diversity and inclusion, and performance management. Prior to that, Jay managed the leadership development efforts for Wyndham Vacation Ownership, where he established a learning center to improve sales and marketing leadership results. Jay is actively involved with The HR Advisory Group of the National Apartment Association. He is also a Program Committee Member for the Forum on Diversity at the University of St. Thomas, and The Forum on Workplace Inclusion at Augsburg University.

Jay is certificated through Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architect program and 360 Feedback Certification.He also is certified by the Human Capital Institute in Strategic Workforce Planning and is a certified Emergenetics Associate for Emergenetics International. Jay also holds various Franklin Covey Facilitator Certifications. Jay received his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida.


Laura Pasquini

Program Manager, Amazon

Laura Pasquini is a seasoned learning designer, researcher, instructor, and trainer. As an early career scholar-practitioner, her practice and research explores career coaching, virtual communities of practice, professional identity development, and digital learning. Dr. Pasquini consults with various education institutions, non-profits, and corporate associations on the stewardship of technology for designing networked learning, leveraging digital training/learning programs, and improving organizational culture. At Amazon, she works on a global learning experience design team to support customer service for Amazon’s Device, Digital & Alexa support. Sales Trainer, Paylocity

Laura Grochocki is a Sales Trainer on the Paylocity Learning & Development Sales Training Delivery team. She was born and raised in Norfolk, VA, graduated college from University the University of Georgia, and completed her APTD certification in December of 2019. Laura’s professional career has been in outside Sales, Sales Training design and facilitation, and Leadership. She has a passion for helping othes grow and develop, open their mind to broader perspectives, and learning something new each and every day.

Laura lives in Mt. Prospect, IL with her husband and two children. She enjoys all sports, including ping pong and foosball, warm weather, and getting beat at Wii Mario by her kids.
