Virtually all organizations use e-learning, and they’re using more of it than ever before. Five years ago, the median organization delivered between 1 and 20 percent of its learning portfolio as e-learning. According to the 2020 report from ATD Research entitled E-Learning: The Evolving Landscape, that number is between 21 and 40 percent today, and it is expected to rise to between 41 and 60 percent in the next five years.

Given e-learning’s rise, organizations have strong ways to implement best practices. This webcast will examine findings from E-Learning: The Evolving Landscape, which identifies e-learning practices associated with being a top-performing organization. Topics covered will include e-learning’s effectiveness by content area, e-learning’s use in blended learning programs, accessibility (for persons with disabilities) in e-learning, and elements organizations include in e-learning (such as interactive video and gamification). It will also discuss the most important skills and top skills gaps among professionals who design e-learning and top barriers to effective e-learning.
