Dr. Barbara Seifert is the President of Committed to your Success Coaching & Consulting, and the Leadership Success Institute, in Orlando, Florida. She is a Success Coach, where she helps individuals to take charge of their career and enhance their professional development to reach their peak performance, as well as helping organizations to get the most out of their employees, including high performance, employee engagement, leadership development and maintaining work-life balance. She loves helping people to love the job they hate!

Barbara received her Ph. D. from Barry University in Leadership and Education, with a specialization in Human Resource Development (HRD). She is Certified as a Professional Coach (CPC), a Law of Attraction Coach, and as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner. She is the coauthor of the book, Contagious Optimism; she is a writer and speaker, appearing in print, TV, and radio, as well as coaching at conventions, such as the World Future Society and ATD’s ICE Conventions, where she also presented at both the 2014 and 2015 conventions. Barbara is an adjunct professor at several universities teaching graduate courses in both MBA and HRD programs, of which Career Management and Organizational Behavior are her specialties; she was named Teacher of the Year for 2015 in the business school at Florida Institute of Technology. She is the founder of the Global Coaches Alliance, a professional coaching association. In the spirit of giving back, Barbara is a mentor to HR/OD professionals and to new coaches entering the field.

Principal, Alan De Back Learning & Communications

Alan De Back is an independent career counselor and learning consultant located in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. His experience includes more than 20 years in career counseling and learning- and training-related functions. In addition to his current independent role, Alan has served as director of global learning for an Internet consulting firm and manager of leadership development for a major aerospace corporation. His experience also includes roles as a career counselor, trainer, and program manager for a local Northern Virginia government, and assistant director of career services for a major Upstate New York university.

Alan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and history from the State University of New York at Geneseo, a master’s degree in human resource development from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a graduate-level certificate in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University.
