Many organizations around the world are starting to apply the principles of brain research to their learning environments. On May 7, join Phil Menary and Alice Kim as they leverage real learning data to determine what kind of effect is this having on behavior and, ultimately, performance.

During this webinar, attendees will learn:

  • how the correct combination of spacing and reinforcement can shorten time to competency
  • the different extrinsic and intrinsic motivators that can lead to an increased level of voluntary participation in learning
  • the importance of assessing an employee's confidence and how that can affect knowledge growth.

Alice Kim

Research Associate, Baycrest Hospital, York University

Alice Kim uses cognitive neuroscience methods to investigate human memory and the brain. Her goal is to translate what we know about memory into practical applications for the real world. Throughout her MA and PhD training, she used scalp-recorded event-related potentials to investigate how information is processed and how new memories are formed. She is currently investigating neurocognitive processes that lead to improved memory.
